Arla Foods Gross Salary Scheme 2026

On October 1st, we are once again opening for orders on Arla Foods' gross salary scheme.

The gross salary scheme – in brief: through Arla's gross salary scheme, you have the opportunity to order selected products for private use through your employer. Payment is made via your salary before tax, which can provide a financial benefit compared to a private purchase. In the ordering portal, you will find, among other things, mobile phones, IT equipment, and furniture for your home office – all approved by Arla.

What is a gross salary arrangement?

A gross salary arrangement is an agreement where, through your employer, you can order products or services for private use. The value is deducted from your salary before tax, providing a real tax saving – your 'discount'. Payment is spread over 12 months for IT equipment and 24 months for home office furniture.

All categories and products are approved by Arla, and mobile phones, computers, and tablets are always covered by All-Care – coverage with no excess for e.g. a cracked screen.

Example calculation for mobile phone – save over 35%

Example: iPhone 18 Air 256GB

Mobile phone accessories

Accessories (AirPods, headsets, speakers, chargers, and cases etc.) can only be ordered together with a mobile phone.

There is no residual value after 12 months.

Your tax deduction rate therefore equals your discount.

Taxation – what do you need to know?

📱 When ordering a mobile phone

You are automatically taxed on the benefit of a company phone: DKK 3,500 per year (2026 rate), corresponding to approx. DKK 115 per month after tax.

This only applies if you are not already taxed on a company phone benefit.

💻 Tablet, computer and accessories

Subject to the Danish Tax Authority's anti-avoidance rule: you are taxed on 50% of the retail price annually, proportionally distributed over the income year.

The amount is automatically reported as B-income (excl. labour market contribution) by Arla.

🪑 Home office furniture

The payment is spread over 24 months. Only available for employees with office-based work.

How to order – step by step

Haven't received an email? Click 'Go to the ordering portal' below. Access is personal, so do not share your personal access email with others.

Ownership, Cancellation and Termination

🏷️ Ownership

You do not own the products, but lease them during the period through your employer.

↩️ Cancellation

The agreement is binding for the chosen period of 12 or 24 months, unless special circumstances apply (e.g. termination of employment).

Once the portal closes, your order is binding. You will not be able to amend your order or request an exchange of a product – so please double-check your order before the deadline.

⚠️ Delays

Should your order be delayed for any reason, you will be contacted by the supplier with a new expected delivery date. Please note: salary deductions will begin at the agreed time, even if a product is delayed. No compensation will be provided.

Buyout to Private Ownership

According to the Danish Tax Authority's rules, you must have the option to buy out products when the gross salary period expires – or upon termination. You will receive an email from Medarbejderfordele 1-2 months before the period ends, where you will need to decide on buyout or return.

You can choose to pay by credit card, MobilePay, or via Klarna, where you can split the payment into 1-3 months.

What can I expect from the buyout price?

The buyout price is assessed individually and is determined based on, among other things:

  • the market price of comparable used equipment
  • our experience with returned equipment
  • the equipment's expected resale value

As a rule of thumb, the buyout price can in some cases correspond to approximately 1–1½ months' salary deduction before tax. However, the amount is only indicative, as the final price depends on the specific equipment and its market value.

Right of Complaint

Upon buyout, you receive a 24-month right of complaint from the buyout date (does not apply to accessories).

🚫 No thanks! (That is also an option).

You can also choose to say "no thanks" to the buyout, meaning you have only rented the products during the period. If you choose not to buy out to private ownership, you will automatically be contacted regarding the return.

You will then receive a free shipping label.

Return must take place no later than 7 days after the end of the period.

Keep the original packaging!
